GRAB A PARTNER, compete for BRAGGING RIGHTS and have fun supporting a great cause. The St Andrew Bay Yacht Club is partnering with Panama City Lions Club and their fundraiser, Blindfolded Regatta.
Their motto is “WE SERVE!” The Lions give 100% of the money raised to support sight conservation services in all of Bay County. Lions fund eye exams for school age children and eye exams and glasses for those in need, collect used eye glasses for recycling, and participate with other community projects in Bay County.
This is a fun day for everyone and is an all ages event—bring the whole family! You don’t have to be a sailor, all you need is a willing partner for your team. The Blindfolded Regatta features a blindfolded rower and a navigator working together, racing to a buoy and back before your competition!
