The new Black Panther movie has been a huge success at the box office, making a ton of money and dazzling fans and critics alike. I can't wait to see it, myself.
And, it seems to be having an unexpected effect on pet adoptions: a huge spike in the number of people going out to get themselves a black cat. Normally, shelters have a tough time convincing people to take home black cats. You know, because of the whole bad luck thing. But at least for now, the movie has changed that perception, and people are adopting black cats.
