Run or walk through beautiful downtown Headland during the Headland Harvest Run, a 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, Saturday, Sept. 30. Registration begins at 7am in the gazebo on the square. The 5K Run begins at 8am, the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9am.
The wheeled, level course winds through downtown and residential areas. The Harvest Run is a part of the Headland Harvest Festival activities and benefits the Headland High School Cross-Country Team. Entry fee is $25 with t-shirt, $20 without t-shirt. Fun Run/Walk registration is $15 with t-shirt, $10 without t-shirt. Registration forms are also available at www.headlandal.org. This is also a Dothan Runners Club Grand Prix event.
The Harvest Run is sponsored by HNB First Bank, the PRcompanies, Golden Peanut & Tree Nut, Headland Lions Club, Southeast Gas, Center for Vein Restoration, Headland Ace Hardware, Headland Family Medicine, Headland Plumbing & Electric, and Wiregrass Construction.
