Camila Cabello Recruits Swae Lee For "Real Friends" Remix

Camila Cabello may have released her self-titled debut album back in January, but that's not stopping her from putting out new treats for her fans.

On Thursday (August 16), the former Fifth Harmony member released a remix of her acoustic single "Real Friends," which was featured on Camila.

She recruited hip-hop star Swae Lee — who makes up half of Rae Sremmurd with his brother Slim Jxmmi — to add some swagger to the new rendition of the song.

The track is still led by a simple acoustic guitar line. The 23-year-old rapper lends his auto-tuned falsetto to the second verse, where he sings instead of raps. “Trust slow for a reason / See through the fake pretty easy / Stayin' down 'till the world ends / Guilt trips on the weekend,” he croons, complimenting Camila's angelic vocals.

The track was supposed to drop on Friday (August 17), but Camila was too excited and couldn't wait another day for fans to hear it. “Ok I’m too excited to wait till Friday. #RealFriends coming out midnight ET,” she tweeted Wednesday (August 15) evening.

Since going solo, Camila has garnered a hefty fanbase that apparently includes Oprah Winfrey. Watch this video of Oprah groovin' to "Havana" and thank us later.
