Jeffrey Epstein Confidant Gets 20 Years In Prison

Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced in New York City to 20-years in the Jeffrey Epstein sex abuse case.

Prosecutors asked for 30 to 55 years for Maxwell, essentially a life sentence for the British socialite who's 60.

She was convicted last December of recruiting and grooming 14 to 17-year-old girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein over a ten-year period beginning in 1994.

Prosecutors are calling her behavior "shockingly predatory" but Maxwell is seeking leniency, a five-year prison sentence.
