Little Big Town's Holiday Show Includes Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, More

Little Big Town will host a two-hour holiday event with performances by Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini and more. The star-studded show was filmed at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry will premiere on NBC on Monday, December 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. it will be available to stream on Peacock the next day, according to a press release issued Tuesday (October 8). Dan + Shay, Ballerini, Sheryl Crow, Kirk Franklin, Josh Groban, Kate Hudson and Orville Peck will perform classic Christmas songs throughout the holiday show.

“We are simply beside ourselves to announce that we will host our own NBC holiday special at the prestigious Grand Ole Opry House,” Little Big Town said in a statement. “This is an incredible honor for us, and we are beyond thrilled to share this special evening with viewers and fans across the country. We've invited some of our dearest friends to join us on stage, and we can't wait for everyone to experience the magic of the holidays at such an incredible venue. After 25 years as a band, we’re also excited to release our very first Christmas album and are thrilled to perform some of those classics during this special.” 

Little Big Town released The Christmas Record on Friday (October 4), and premiered a music video filmed in “the breathtaking town of Gstaad, Switzerland.” The group’s first-ever holiday album arrived shortly after their Greatest Hits collection to mark 25 years as a band. Later this month, Little Big Town will kick off their “Take Me Home Tour” with Sugarland and The Castellows.

“We shot the video for ‘Glow’ while on tour in Switzerland this summer. Being in Gstaad and the Swiss Alps channeled our holiday spirit, so we couldn’t pass up the chance to create our own winter wonderland magic!” Little Big Town previously said in a statement. “We’re so happy to finally share our first-ever Christmas record with the world. We hope this soundtrack will create some new traditions for you this holiday season.”
