The Voice will return in early 2025, and country singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini will make her highly-anticipated coaching debut in the upcoming season.

NBC confirmed earlier this year that Ballerini, 31, will join the competition show as a coach next year. The Patterns artist will appear alongside one of the original coaches on the show, Adam Levine, along with returning coaches John Legend and Michael Bublé, (who is serving as a coach for the first time on the show’s current season, which also includes Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg). Ballerini shared NBC's announcement on her Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon (November 19).

“I left that set and I have a group chat with all my girlfriends, and I said ‘guys, I think I really want to do this one day,’” Ballerini said during a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Ballerini and Kelly Clarkson caught up about The Voice ahead of Ballerini’s coaching debut, following the “First Rodeo” artist’s previous experience filling in for Clarkson. “I’m loving it. I’m loving it because, you know, I’m newer. I’m up there with Adam Levine, John Legend and Michael Bublé. I grew up on their music. …and I’m learning so much, about myself, even. I’ll give advice and I’m like, ‘I should take that.’ and then John, I feel like he’s just such a ball of wisdom.”

Ballerini will make her coaching debut on The Voice when the next season premieres on February 3, 2025.
