Passengers on a recent Scandinavian Airlines flight bound for Miami experiencing severe turbulence.

The flight was on its way from Stockholm, Sweden last week when it hit the bad air, causing passengers to fly out of their seats.

One passenger says the pilots diverted the flight to Copenhagen - which was five hours away - instead of landing in Canada, which was about 20 minutes away.

The airline has yet to comment.
