A Florida man claims a Lyft driver tried to defraud him using an AI-altered image of a backseat mess his daughter says she and her friend did not create.

The Boca Raton father, Bert Gor, says he received a damage fee from the company for $75 accompanied by a photo of spilled fries and drinks in the back seat of the vehicle as proof.

Gor tells "Good Morning America," 'In my mind, I'm thinking, these girls are grounded for the whole weekend.'

Then his daughter pointed out a logo for "Google Gemini" in the corner of the image, which tipped them off it was AI-generated.

Lyft released a statement saying they offered the riders reimbursement, apologized and addressed the matter with the driver.
