Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade Returns to Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, FL - The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade will take place this Saturday, bringing its annual display of decorated boats and holiday cheer to Fort Lauderdale.

The event, a long-standing tradition in South Florida, features a procession of illuminated vessels traveling along the Intracoastal Waterway.

The official Parade Viewing Area is located at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, at the southeast corner of Las Olas Boulevard and the Intracoastal.

Gates will open at 4:00 PM, and the parade is expected to pass by the viewing area around 7:00 PM, after starting at 6:30 PM along The New River.

This year’s viewing area will include live entertainment hosted by local radio personalities, activities for attendees, vendors, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.

Tickets for the area are $40 for adults, $35 for children ages 10 and under, and free for children under three.

Tickets are available for purchase online.

In addition to the viewing area, attendees can opt for a premium experience aboard the Winterfest Showboat, The Celebration, which departs at 6:30 PM.

Boarding for the showboat begins at 5:30 PM, offering a closer view of the parade.

This marks the 53rd year of the Winterfest Boat Parade, which has become a signature event in Fort Lauderdale.

Organizers have recommended using rideshare services due to limited parking near the event.

Parking facilities are available within walking distance for those planning to drive.

The Winterfest Boat Parade continues to be a key feature of the holiday season in South Florida, attracting thousands of spectators annually.
