BREAKING: Rolling Thunder Says 2019 Motorcycle Ride WILL BE THE LAST! NOOO!

BREAKING NEWS TODAY

It's being widely reported that after 30 YEARS, the 2019 Rolling Thunder Motorcycle ride will be the last. Pete Zaleski, the vice president of Rolling Thunder, Inc., confirmed, citing costs and ongoing communication issues with the Pentagon Police Department. Having been a rider in this event, I know first hand how breath taking the roar of thousands of bikes is and the statement that it makes.

Here's what has been revealed according to NBC 4

  • After more than 30 years, Rolling Thunder will end its annual ride to DC

  • The group says the cost to hold the event has gone up. Last year the bill was $200,000

  • Rolling Thunder says it's open to continuing the tradition if they can find a way to offset costs

The final ride is scheduled for May 26, 2019. More information is available on the Rolling Thunder web site.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO KEEP THIS FROM Ending? Let me know your thoughts!
