The Rebirth of a Bridge on the Rappahannock is an amazing thing to see.

The 143 year old wrought-iron truss of the Waterloo Bridge over the Rappahannock River from Fauquier County to Culpeper County in Virginia gets lifted from its stone abutments for restoration on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.. Built in 1878 and renovated in 1919, the single-lane bridge closed in January 2014 because of its deterioration. The Virginia Department of Transportation in early 2020 awarded Corman Kokosing Construction Co. of Annapolis Junction, Md., the $3.65-million contract to restore the bridge. It should be complete by April 2021.

Today it was announced the bridge has been completed! Looking Pretty nice!
