New CPR Playlist Could Help Save Lives

You can save someone's life by doing hands only CPR in the case of cardiac arrest before they reach the hospital.

To keep the correct pace, CPR trainers have long suggested doing chest compressions to the beat of “Stayin’ alive” by the Bee Gees.  That has the perfect the number of beats per minute to perform CPR, which is 100 beats per minute. But, that song isn’t the only one you can use.

Here is a playlist that has a bunch of songs that all have 100 beats per minute (BPM)

SONGS TO DO CPR TO

And here is an instructional video from the American Heart Association on how to do Hands-Only CPR.  Now get out there and save a life!

New York Presbyterian Hospital put together a Spotify playlist of other songs you may prefer to use, or you can choose something else, as long as the song has a rhythmic beat of AT LEAST 100 bpm.
