The flight attendants and airline pilots of Tik Tok have been spilling the secrets of the airline industry for a while now, but this is one I haven't heard before. A young lady by the name of Kat says that if you bring little treats, maybe some lip balm, or the best one of all, some $5 Starbucks gift cards, they will remember where you sit, know your face and make sure that you receive some of the best service possible.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. Of course I'm always polite and friendly to the flight attendants, but traveling is expensive enough without having to shell out EVEN more money to make sure I receive good service. On the other hand, a random act of kindness can make a huge difference in someone's day/life, so I'm all about spreading the positive karma around. What do you think? I would think this would probably be worth it if you were on a longer flight.
