I'm sure there's no way of counting how many proposal videos I've seen of people popping the question near a body of water (lake, river, dock, even on a boat) and the ring falls into the water. There are probably thousands more I haven't seen.
I get it. The water is beautiful. I live near the beach. Maybe you're on vacation or want a really picturesque romantic water/sunset vibe. But COME ON folks. Why even risk it. Why ever take the chance that the ring you're shelling out THOUSANDS of dollars for could fall into a place where it could become irretrievable before you even get it on the girls hand.
Anyway. Rant over. This one is actually pretty great though. The ring falls into the water (of course it does) and in his haste to retrieve it, the guy falls in as well. Luckily it was still in the box. Otherwise he would be SO out of luck. People. Stop doing this!
