This is such a great use of a person's platform to change the lives of those less fortunate. Jimmy Donaldson, a worldwide YouTube star that goes by the name Mr. Beast helped 1000 blind people see again. Cataracts can cause people to lose their sight almost entirely, yet can be fixed with a 10 minute surgery.
Watching these people's reactions when they realize they can have their lives back is so cool. Several people also got more than just a free life changing surgery. Donaldson gave several of them $10,000 to help them get back on their feet.
