Christopher Snow and his 13 year old daughter Alexis went out for a sunset ride on their jet ski that turned into a frightening situation. After over an hour, Christopher's fiancé became worried when she couldn't reach the pair. She noticed Sheriff's deputy who happened to be on a routine patrol of the dock and alerted him of the situation.
The Hillsborough Sherrif's Office details what happened next in a Facebook Post;
Teaming up with local residents, #teamHCSO rescued a father and daughter that had been treading water for nearly an hour.
"The swift response of our deputy and the assistance provided by the community played a crucial role in the successful rescue of Christopher, 31, and Alexis Snow, 13,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "We are relieved that they were returned to shore safely and without any injuries. It is scary to imagine what could have happened had this father and daughter not been wearing their life jackets."
