My son is finishing up Kindergarten this year and I can say for the most part it has been a pretty great experience. We love his school and his teacher and he has learned SO much! He's thriving there. But as parents Kindergarten can be a tough year because there's a lot that happens and we're not used to knowing what happens to our kids every second of the day while they are there.

My little guy likes to tell really creative stories and I know I can't always believe what he says but more than once this year I've reached out to his teacher because of something he's told me that sounded real, and concerning and it wound up not being true at all. Remember to always ask the teacher before you come at them angry over something your kid told you.
