Carly Pearceâs team helped her with a recent Q&A when she lost her voice â and they used the opportunity to âabsolutely roastâ her.
Pearce shared a clip of that moment on Sunday (April 13), and said the VIP experience at her show on Saturday (April 12) âgot wild. âŚthey [the crew] did not hold back.â Pearceâs crew spilled details about touring with the award-winning artist, including their âbiggest ickâ moments involving her daily contacts, a âweird thing with her [double-jointed] arms,â and loudly slamming the trash chute door. Commenters deemed it âthe funniest thing ever,â and said âwe need this in every VIP!â
The hummingbird star said on Friday (April 11) that she was under the weather and would not be able to take the stage for her tour stop that evening in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pearce, who spoke with a hoarse voice, apologized and shared with fans that she âwaited all afternoon trying to get better. I have no idea why but Iâm not going to be able to sing tonight due to illness. we are working on a reschedule date. Keep your tickets. Weâll be back soon. âŚSickness has not been my friend this year, has it? I love you guys. Iâm so sorry.â
Pearce previously shared health updates as she powered through her performances abroad despite coming down with the flu. Pearce pushed through illness again to take the stage on Saturday in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show marked a full circle moment for Pearce, who worked at Dollywood in her teens. She gushed in a caption on Instagram on Monday (April 14): âKNOXVILLE! thank you for showing up on Saturday and helping me sing through the set. It was so special getting to reminisce on my days living in East Tennessee working at Dollywood all of those years ago. The most beautiful theater and crowd! 𼚠resting my voice this week before another weekend of shows and some time in the studioâŚâ
