Trisha Yearwood described her soon-to-release studio album as a reflective record — “looking back and kind of talking to my younger self” — as she shared a look at “how I recharge” at home.

Yearwood shared a glimpse of how she chooses to “recharge” at home in a clip shared on Wednesday (June 11). The post arrives as the singer-songwriter counts the days until she releases her 15-track studio album, The Mirror. Yearwood said “this whole album is kind of a reflection, honestly, looking back and kind of talking to my younger self and just another layer. So, The Mirror felt like the right title. We’re just kind of showing this is where I live and what I do, and this is how we recharge from all the crazy.”

Yearwood offered “a little look into how I recharge (it mostly means hanging with my dogs),” set to one of the songs on The Mirror’s track list, “Girls Night In.” That song has already made its debut, along with “Bringing The Angels” and “The Wall Or The Way Over.”

The Mirror is Yearwood’s “first fully co-written and co-produced album” of her career, she said when she announced the release date earlier this year. “This is a new chapter for me and one I cannot wait to share with you… I am so proud of this record and hope you love it as much as I loved creating it.” The Mirror will arrive on July 18.
