The Humphreys County Dixie League from Waverly, Tennessee is going to the World Series in South Carolina with all expenses paid for thanks to country superstar Morgan Wallen.
The heartfelt gesture from Wallen is extra special to the team as they have been through so much since August 2021 when a catastrophic flood destroyed many of the county’s schools, forcing them to be placed into temporary schools. Many of the players currently attend school in a refurbished factory.
