Today is known by many as "Star Wars Day," for the play on words "May the 4th be with you."
One person recognizing that is Florida Chief Financial Officer and state Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis.
He tweeted that "May the 4th is an opportunity for Disney to be a little more Jedi and a little less Sith. A little more Skywalker, and a little less Vader. More Ewok, less Jabba."
Patronis also notes that "Disney’s legal strategy is as understandable as Chewbacca reading the dictionary."
Disney owns the property rights to everything "Star Wars" and the company has been at odds with Governor DeSantis over the Parental Rights in Education Law, of which the Legislature has just approved its expansion.
