A woman who touched hearts with her medical struggles has reason to celebrate in Broward County.
Thirty-one-year-old Marlie Casseus got married Thursday in Miramar to a man who says he was inspired by her battle with a rare tumor.
Casseus developed a tumor on her face that grew to 16 pounds, and she came to Miami from Haiti when she was 14 to have it removed.
Her husband, Billy, says he has known Marlie for about 15 years, and he says her strength has helped him in a lot of ways on his own personal journey.
