Miami Beach Cuts Parking Rates to $1 Per Hour for Summer Visitors

Miami, FL - The City of Miami Beach has launched a temporary parking discount, reducing rates to $1 per hour at city-operated garages and surface lots from July 1st through August 31st.

The reduced rate applies to parking sessions up to three hours and is only available through the ParkMobile app.

To access the discount, users must enter the zone number displayed on signage at their parking location.

A pop-up banner in the app will then prompt users to input a district-specific promo code.

Once the promo code is entered, it will remain active for that zone type, eliminating the need to re-enter it in future sessions within zones that offer the same hourly rate.

The promotion is valid only in designated Miami Beach municipal lots and garages.

Each ParkMobile user will be granted a total of 15 discounted sessions during the two-month period, amounting to a maximum of 45 hours of discounted parking.

Users may apply these sessions consecutively on the same day or across separate visits, provided each session does not exceed the three-hour limit.

City officials state that the initiative aims to provide cost relief to residents, workers, and visitors during the peak summer months.

Regular parking enforcement, including fines and towing for overages, remains in effect once the allotted time has expired.

Further details can be accessed through the ParkMobile app or city signage at each location.
