Cape Canaveral, FL - SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral on Monday with a launch window opening between 5:00 p.m. and 8:13 p.m. ET.

The mission will deploy the O3B mPOWER 9 and 10 satellites into medium-Earth orbit.

The launch will take place from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and the rocket will follow an eastward trajectory over the Atlantic Ocean.

This flight path means there is no expectation of sonic booms during the event.

The launch will be visible from areas along Florida’s Space Coast and possibly farther.

Depending on weather conditions, residents and visitors from Jacksonville Beach in the north to West Palm Beach in the south may be able to view the rocket’s ascent.

Live coverage of the launch will begin 90 minutes before liftoff, with continuous updates provided by the USA TODAY Network’s Space Team.

For those looking to view the launch from the Treasure Coast, several locations provide ideal vantage points.

In Indian River County, popular spots include Sebastian Inlet State Park, Wabasso Beach Park, and Ambersands Beach Park.

In St. Lucie County, Fort Pierce Inlet State Park, Blind Creek Beach, and Blue Heron Beach offer good views.

Martin County’s House of Refuge and beach is another prime viewing location.

The Falcon 9 rocket launch on July 21st will be another key milestone in SpaceX’s mission to expand global satellite communication with the deployment of the O3B mPOWER satellites.
